I have been entertaining at children’s birthday parties for 11 years, at over 1000 of them and I have learned a lot along the way. Children’s parties can be utter chaos; days we all want to forget. My own 6th birthday party ended with boys breaking all my toys, me in tears and me telling my mum to never give me another birthday party. But they can end with smiles all around with both children and parents having a fantastic time with lovely photos and videos of the joy-filled day.

There are things that work and things that really do not! The best games like I do in my birthday parties (sorry to brag) involve all the children. Nobody is queuing and nobody gets eliminated because then the boredom sets in. Piñata is mostly queuing, and then it’s young kids waving a big stick. And suprise suprise, accidents happen. Lots of accidents! Then it’s sweets all over the place and lots of mess.
Skip the piñata and bouncy castle, and book an experienced party entertainer who hosts the whole party and has the children having great fun without the accidents and tears. Check for great reviews and watch their videos.
