School Magic Shows
Really trying to get more work in schools. If any of you can recommend me to your children’s primary school/pre-school/nursery, that would be great.
Fun-filled 1-hour magic shows are brilliant fun for 3-10-year-olds and for the lovely teachers too! Shows for a single class or up to 250 children. I can do up to 4 shows in a day. Magic, music, bubbles, dancing, volunteers, comedy, and loads, and loads of laughs!

Magical entertainment for Coronation Parties and Events
Editing with Premiere Pro
This two-minute video has taken me hundreds of hours to edit. Sorting through about twenty different videos of my shows. I like to showcase the different kinds of lovely events I get to perform at. From shows of two hundred to small birthday parties in people’s living rooms. It’s a different energy and there are nice sides and pitfalls to different rooms/situations/crowds. Amazing lively fun adults in my audiences to those glaring at me like a doctor looking at a verruca.
I nearly had this video done yesterday. I scheduled in (I’m an obsessive to-do lister). I had a little left when Premiere Pro and my computer decided to melt down. I spent two hours deleting files and programs trying to speed up my PC to no avail. I contacted Adobe and they remotely accessed by the computer and they got it working perfectly again. Thank you Shreyas at Adobe! I finished my ridiculous video.
11-1 and 3-5
My weekend birthday party time spots are 11-1 (or earlier) and 3-5 (or later). All the top children’s entertainers that I know, do the same-day split. I’m afraid that I cannot do times outside of these time spots like 12-2 or 2-4 or even 2.30 start. It throws off my timings, and means I can only do 1 party that day.
I am a full-time professional entertainer, doing magic shows at schools, family events, and mostly fantastic, fun, children’s birthday parties. I work all week long on my shows; editing music, learning new tricks, practicing the show plus all the admin side.
Weekday bookings are infrequent. It doesn’t always happen, but I try to get two kids’ party bookings on each weekend day. I arrive 45 minutes early to my parties; fresh and full of energy with time to set up and pack down. I also don’t want to be running out of the door at the end of the party. If I have time, I like to do some close-up magic for the kids as they are leaving. For these reasons, I need to stick strictly to these time spots.
If for this reason, you have your party times fixed and cannot book me this time. Do keep me in mind for future events. Try to book me 3-4 months ahead to make sure I’m free.
Midweek, I can do parties any time and I have a bargain midweek magic show for £170 and a no-frills 45-minute magic show for less than 10 children for £120 (Mon-Thu). (40-minute drive from SM25TL. For further afield, please enquire).
Top tip for your party booking times. Get into the venue at least an hour before to set up. 30 minutes to get in can be a bit of a rush and stressful. If you can get a bit more time from the venue to get in earlier that’s great. If not, bring a few friends and family members to help to set up the chairs and tables, etc. I have lots more party tips here.

Magic of the Linking Rings
Love playing with these in my magic shows. I had time during the lockdowns to learn lots of new magic. I learnt a lot from the wonderful magician Jeff McBride’s tapes on the subject from the 1980s(?) and the brilliant Levent’s 3 dvd set where he goes into incredible detail about the history of how they have been performed and the techniques used to amuse.

Parties are in full swing now for 2022! I have many bookings for February, March, April, and later in the year. Wonderful to be back at parties every weekend. Soon, I should be able to buy back the kidney I sold during the lockdowns!
I’m facing a few cancellations when family members have tested positive. I got Covid myself a few weeks ago and for the first time in 8 years of doing magic shows, I had to cancel two parties myself! I had very mild sickness for one day but had to isolate myself for the safety of the guests. I made it up to the families in part by going to their houses to do some magic for the birthday boy/girl and we had a lovely time.
If you have me in mind for a birthday party; perfect for 5,6,7-year-olds, do book me as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
5th Birthday Parties
Children’s parties are great fun to perform my magic shows but the best ones are ever are fifth birthdays! The children are the most fun for me as a magician at that age. They love to dance, they love to laugh, they have confidence to be brilliant volunteers on stage and they have a great sense of wonder to enjoy magic.
I offer magic shows in homes and in party venues and for schools and family events in South London and Surrey.

My crazy career
From rock and roll bands to a circus contortionist to a balloon modelling specialist to a funny magician I have always had great fun in what I do. I never liked to follow the crowd and always strived to keep pushing forward changing and improving on what I do. My new project for 2020 was weekly YouTube videos. I am having great fun making them.
I had a fun day with magician superstar and lovely guy Brendan Rodrigues recently doing an interview with him and him doing an interview me. We have a very different style in the world of magic but we have a mutual respect for each other and always a great laugh.
